Reconciliation is not an aboriginal problem-it is a Canadian problem.
It involves all of us.
It was Justice Murray Sinclair, in his role as chairperson of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission from 2009 to 2015, who said those words. In doing so, he called on all Canadians- those whose families have been here for generations, and those newly arrived-to take responsibility for their role in reconciliation.
We all have a responsibility to enact reconciliation in our daily lives, in both small and big ways.
